This is a little sample illustration I did a while ago for a children's book script that someone sent to the UW art department. It never went beyond this though because a) most people who look for artists at the university think they can pay next to nothing for the work, and b) the story was badly written.

Not Right Cards
Joel and I have been working with a man in Brookfield, WI who wants to start his own greeting card line called Not Right Cards. As the name suggests, the writing is out there and atypical, aimed at picking on traditional greeting cards rather than using the usual humor that one might see in such things. The gentleman wrote to me a year ago this month to think up and create illustrations, and we now have the first twenty cards professionaly printed. We have been and continue searching for good venues, and welcome any suggestions.
I will link the Not Right Cards website when it's up and running.
